I live in Kingston in the outskirts of London and joined ManoMano last May fully remotely. I spent most of my onboarding working from home but was able to come and spend a few days in the Paris HQ to meet the teams.
I feel lucky to be able to work from my home in the city and country of my choice as it provides me with the right balance to manage my work and family life, and am able to make the most of living in such a beautiful town by having morning or lunchtime walks along the river for example.
In my role, not having any background office noise whilst on calls with clients is a real advantage and means I can focus and dedicate my full attention to building a partnership without being distracted. Working from home can often give a sense of solitude but at ManoMano I have never felt that way as we have several video meetings with our team and colleagues per day, and we meet once or twice a quarter in the Paris office for team events.
